Can we donate $10 in YOUR name to facilitate communication for individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, Late-Deafened, and Interpreters? Our agency has joined the Eastern Panhandle Deaf Alliances, Inc. (EPDA) and is fundraising to help them on their mission to establish various services to meet the needs of people with hearing/vision losses.
EPDA strives to provide top quality services to help individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, Late-Deafened, and Interpreters. The goal is to ensure that every individual receives appropriate services that enhance their overall livelihood. Also, Eastern Panhandle Deaf Alliances, Inc. promotes awareness on Deafness, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, and Late-Deafened to increase and create positive opportunities for all members of West Virginia communities. “Their work is fantastic, and we all can help them provide such a tremendous opportunity for people in need in our community.”
Their first goal is to provide them with full communication accessibility for any professional service. The second goal is to partner the EPDA interpreter service with any professional service/business as well as public services. They are being considered to develop a program for training interpreters. These services would be imminent upon the availability of sufficient money funds, which they do not have at this present time. Join the #AgentsOfChange movement and let’s have a positive impact on the lives of local people with hearing/vision losses.
