Frequently Asked Questions
When should I start the Medicare enrollment process?
The sweet spot is about 3 months before your 65th birthday. That gives us time to walk through your options, get everything submitted, and avoid last-minute stress. If you’re already drawing Social Security, you’ll be enrolled automatically—but even then, we should double-check the details to make sure nothing gets missed.
Can I keep my doctor with Medicare?
That depends on the plan. With a Supplement, you can see almost any doctor that takes Medicare since there are no doctor networks or referrals. Medicare Advantage plans usually come with provider networks, so it’s important to check if your doctor is in-network.
Can I change my Medicare plan later on?
Yes. Each year from October 15 to December 7, you can review and switch your Advantage or Prescription Drug plan. Medicare Supplements are a little trickier—you can apply to switch anytime, but you may have to answer health questions. I check in with my clients every fall to make sure their plan still fits.
How much do your services cost?
Our services are completely free—we get paid by insurance carriers, not by you.
What’s the difference between Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D?
Part A – Hospital Insurance (covers inpatient hospital stays, hospice, skilled nursing)
Part B – Medical Insurance (covers doctor visits, outpatient services, preventive care)
Part C (Medicare Advantage) – Private insurance plans that bundle Parts A, B, and often D
Part D – Prescription drug coverage
When should I enroll in Medicare?
You should enroll during your Initial Enrollment Period (IEP), which begins three months before you turn 65 and lasts for seven months. If you’re still working, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to delay without penalties.
What is the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement?
Medicare Advantage (Part C): A private plan that replaces Original Medicare (Parts A & B), often including Part D (prescription drugs) and extras like dental or vision, with varying costs and networks.
Medicare Supplement (Medigap): A private plan that works with Original Medicare to cover out-of-pocket costs like deductibles and copays but does not include Part D or extra benefits.
Do you only work with people in Texas?
We currently have licensed agents in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Washington. If you live outside of our current service area, we can easily get licensed anywhere in the U.S. to serve you.

Testimonials
Lane Jones
Licensed Sales Agent
I grew up in Great Falls, Montana, working on ranches before attending the University of Montana in Missoula, where I studied Business Management. In my free time, I loved hiking and exploring the Lolo National Forest.
At 23, I was offered an opportunity to begin my career in Medicare, which led me to move to the great state of Texas in 2019. Since then, I’ve lived in Houston and Dallas before putting down roots in New Braunfels.
I’m proud to have spent most of my adult life helping Texans navigate the often confusing world of Medicare. My goal is to make your transition into retirement as simple, clear, and stress-free as possible—while always putting your needs first.
